Dr. Lim is a psychiatrist with over a decade of experience, with a special focus on child and adolescent mental health. He has worked closely with young persons through clinical roles in consultation-liaison psychiatry, community mental health, and emergency psychiatry, and has led multidisciplinary case conferences involving youth-related agencies such as the Asian Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA) and Republic Polytechnic.
Dr. Lim was formerly a Consultant Psychiatrist and Deputy Director at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), and served as a Visiting Consultant for Mental Health Screening Services at Republic Polytechnic (2018–2023), where he supported youth mental health care on campus.
His current interests include mental capacity assessments, trauma-informed care, and the integration of youth mental health services into community settings.

Dr. Lim also held senior faculty positions in the National Residency Programme for Psychiatry and was a core educator at both Lee Kong Chian and Yong Loo Lin Schools of Medicine, where he trained future clinicians in adolescent mental health.
