Dr Belinda is a registered clinical psychologist with a specialty in pediatric psychology, having completed her doctoral training in the US and residency at a state hospital for children and adolescents in Michigan. Her background includes working as a trained teacher and school counselor with Singapore's Ministry of Education.
Since 2002, she has worked with diverse populations in Singapore and the US, across settings including community clinics, schools, university clinics, and a neuropsychiatric hospital.
She specializes in supporting children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, identity confusion, and neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. Her experience extends to helping children facing trauma and stress.
She offers strategies and training to parents and caregivers to manage complex behaviors and reduce family stress. Her approach is strengths-based and integrative, using evidence-based, art/play-based interventions for younger children and traditional counseling for adolescents.
